We remember…
We’re descendants of the war.
Who can forget the meaning
Of terribly annoying word
Which brings to homes weeping?..
There are a lot of other wars
On our little planet,
But our land remembers those
Who gave their lives to save it.
The war was awful and long.
It took the whole country
A lot of tears, but made her strong
To cure her deep scars partly.
The generations grew and grew
The oldest told the youngest.
But now they are very few
Who lived in war times hardest.
The memory of those days
Will live in hearts forever.
We’re alive because of deeds
Which must be forgotten never.
