Don`t forget.

Let`s remember the far Soviet Union.

Let`s remember those terrible times.

Every father, being a brave person,

Went to the front with arms.

Our  Mothers sobbed with sadness

Standing with the kids in the porches.

They were waving their hands till darkness

Lit its stars in the sky as torches.

The soldiers of our Motherland

Went to the front and fought.

They held themselves till the end,

The price was high they`d never thought.

The hard four years were passing by.

Courage, fear, death and guns.

Nobody, of course, wanted to die.

Everybody desired peaceful being for sons.

The heroes`s strength was becoming exhausted

But they were at war and didn`t give in.

To defend the native land was the main deed

And they were ready for a new attack to begin.

The defenders were waited at home impatiently

Some lucky people returned, but  some couldn`t do it.

The fate disposed of the lives unjustly

Our duty is  to remember, not to forget it!

Those victories we can`t forget today.

Thanks to them we live under the blue sky.

Every year on the Victory`s Day

We remember the heroes who did die!
