We live in the century of new technologies and computerizing. At present we cannot imagine our life without the Internet.  It has become an integral part of our life. People use the Internet on different purposes: for dialogue, for searching the information, for work, for studying, for fun and entertainment. And some of them use it for creating personal sites. There are tons of reasons why people want to create a personal website. One of the most popular reasons to write a personal website is to write about oneself. People like to talk about themselves, they also like to write about themselves and tell other people who they are. Many people maintain personal web pages because they are the most effective medium to express their opinions. Different personal websites have different contents that tell readers about their thoughts, ideas, interests, hobbies, family, friends, feelings, or something they feel strongly about. This is where people can write about themselves in a more personal way. Then they let the other people comment on their entries.  

      Others think it’s waste of time and prefer communicating face to face. In their opinion people have forgotten how to talk and feel each other.

     As a teacher working in a modern school with new requirements to a teacher I’m for personal sites. For teachers a personal website is a place where we store interesting and useful information. Moreover we can share our experiences with colleges and get comments, learn about achievements of other teachers and simply communicate. We can do it personally through the sites.

But sometimes such problem as lack of time deprives us of opportunity to use our sites more often to be up to date.
