I value my Grandfather`s Victory

 

Spring has come as a ray of light

We remember the win again...

Those strong, brave men,

Whose Heroism knows no measure,

They fought for the Victory

And died for their country.

My grandfather had been in captivity.

I remember one summer

when he told me about the  war.

And  how he was scared,

losing friends in spirited battle……..

 

Because our grandparents were themselves quite usual guys

They wanted peace and love

And there was only the horror of the war.

No one thought of dying,

they had to kill,

to stand for the honor of their Motherland

For the coming days,

It was a great country,

patriotism, a sense of duty

Who did from people the truly heroes.

We will remember them always,

Although the war was over.

I say with great pride:

I honor your achievement forever

I will nothing let you down

And I am proud to say everybody

I value my Victory`s grandfather!
