We remember the fallen

The Great War ended, the peace finally came.

The Enemy was beaten and threatened with judge,

The winners got triumph and everlasting fame.

We felt our victory but it wasn’t so large.

 

Thousands of people were fallen at that carnage

Like victims of the direst world-wide crime.

For those it became bloody challenge of courage

That made them heroes of all times.

 

They stood for the country, justice and freedom

With weapon in arms and hope in their hearts.

By bleeding and crying they struggled and fought

Against Nazis, humans cursed by the God.

 

On 9th of May, when we’re sorrowed and proud

The warriors of homeland must not be forgotten.

“Glory to the heroes!” should sound aloud,

The symbol of that we remember the fallen.
