Poem to My Mom
She’s the one who opened me this world,
Having put her kindest heart into it.
She’s the one who’s loved me to a fault,
Heedless of my frivolous wrongdoings.
Even in my childhood when I crawled
And could not speak properly just yet
She’s the one who knew exactly what I thought
And gave all the care and caress, I bet!
She’s the sweetest person I have ever met
In the course of my not yet mature years,
She will comfort me whenever I’m in fret
And will kiss away my girlish silly tears.
So today and every other minute on
I want to confess my endless Love to Mom
And to thank her for infinite patience
And the warmth she gave on no occasion.
