The old men and women,

The black and orange ribbon…

In the park I'm staying on the way.

All faces are cheerful,

All eyes are tearful –

Tomorrow there'll be the greatest day.

The tanks and jets,

The blood and sweat…

It seemed unreal to win in this fight.

Admiring the trees’ swing,

Inhaling the smell of spring,

I say, ”Thank you for my life!”

Who knows how many fighters

Have died in this chilly shade?

Tomorrow I will get up early

To watch the Victory Parade.
